Piling Mats & Conversion to Highway

PILING MAT AND WORK PLATFORMS THINNED AGAINST TRADITIONAL DESIGNS WITH INDEPENDENT CATEGORY 3 CHECK

Non-frost susceptible combined capping and subbase to IAN 73/06 complete in half the programme time or less with reduced environmental impact.

Piling Mats
PILING MATS

Thin piling mat depths to 350mm of stabilisation with 100mm of sacrificial stone surfacing with independent category 3 check. A shortened programme contributes to achievable savings of £65,000.00 over 6,000m2 with distinct improvements to environmental metrics. Strengths exceed 30% CBR, 260kN/m2 or 150MPA from a single layer with a 2% addition rate, founded upon a 2.5% CBR subgrade.

PERMANENT SURFACING

Suitable for permanent or long-term works. Achievable tolerances of +/- 10mm mean Asphalt can be laid directly on the stabilised layer without the need for a stone regulating layer, removing costs whilst remaining sustainable.

Conversion to Highway
CONVERSION TO HIGHWAY

Constructed to highways specification, temporary haul roads can be used as the capping and subbase for a permanent road after their lifetime as a haul road has expired. The area can be regraded and Asphalt laid directly onto the stabilised layer, subject to specification.
