THE COMPOSITION OF SUREGROUND™ BINDERS ENABLES SOIL SCIENCE TO RETURN pH AND OTHER NUTRIENT BALANCES TO PREVIOUS LEVELS GIVING THE LANDOWNER FULL REGROWTH.
SUSTAINABLE RESTORATION
Traditional methods such as lime and cement stabilisation contain caustic lime at high addition rates which causes long lasting damage to soils. Soil Science do not use lime and the SUREGROUND™ System uses reduced addition rates of bespoke binders, specific to soil types and future use requirements.
Upon decommissioning a bespoke reagent is introduced to rotavated subsoils restoring pH and nutrient to the original DEFRA indices. Existing topsoil is carefully managed, preserved and returned to the area before cultivation restores growth.
DUST FREE SYSTEM
The use of a Stehr Dust Free Mixer ensures airborne dust particles are kept to a minimum protecting crops, water courses and reducing local community inconvenience. Further careful and rigorous testing prior to install ensures water tables are undisturbed by the work processes.
A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS
An independent onsite testing laboratory is set up and the works are undertaken by experienced agronomists who ensure optimum future yields are achieved.
UKAS LABORATORY TESTING
Shows the specific composition and quantities of reagents required in order to return the soil to its original pH levels and nutrient values.
SIGN OFF & AFTERCARE
Our team of agronomists continue the restoration process on site reintroducing the bunded top soil, cultivating and seeding if seasonally opportune. Further laboratory and on-site testing is then employed to confirm previous Ph levels and other soil nutrient values have been achieved. Soil Science also routinely visit historically decommissioned sites for inspection and to monitor regrowth.
CPD
Soil Science provide a CPD offering and land agent/owner meetings to ensure comfort with the system is achieved prior to commencing works on site.
